Daily Updates

09/21/2002
Yes, today is Saturday. Yes, ANTS2 was hard at work again. We made a lot
of progress on the code today. Action Sequences are now actually
selected. There is even a mechanism to retain success information so that
selection becomes more intelligent as the system continues to run. The
changes to how the State Monitor keeps track of individual actions was put
in place. We talked about this with Brown on Thursday and Friday and it
seems like a good way to actually monitor action success given the current
simulation implementation. Ethan was hard at work on his simulation,
which is really looking pretty sharp. We also worked on the code that
generates a model of the Actual State of the spacecraft. We created a
tutorial on how to use the system. That will continue to be updated as
time goes on. In short, lots of coding and lots of good progress. We'll
be back in tomorrow to continue updating the code and also to make sure
that our presentation on Monday goes smoothly. That's all.
