Hi Professor Looft,

This week we have been working on our writing, adding information and
making revisions.  We have also been doing some 'knowledge acquisition'
with our mentors.  We met with Mike Rilee several times this week to
discuss how are layer of code will interact with his simulation.  Mike is
in the process of providing us with a functional spec.  The functional
spec will define exactly what type of resources Mike is making available
to us and how we will interact with those resources.  Once we have this
information we will be well on our way.  In the mean time, we wrote a mini
Java-SSH client that will be used to connect to Mike's simulation.  We
have also set up a CVS server which will be used for source control.

Our next step is to start planning what type of classes we will need to
create and how those will be used as well as how they will interact with
one another.  In addition, will will be updating our writing and doing
more research on related areas.
