Daily Updates

Hey,
    The first week at NASA has been completed.  Today we completed work on
our 5 page summary, table of contents and schedule.  These can all be
viewed in .pdf format in the writing section on our website.  These will
be provided in hard copy to Prof. Looft, as he requested.  Additionally,
we met with Mike and Walt today.  Mike clarified many things through the
questions we asked.  We will no longer be constructing hardware (except
for mock ups during simulation development).  All visualization with Java
3D will be taken care of by Mike.  This means we can concentrate on our
high & low level designs.  We presented our current model and need to
develop a few others to compare and contrast, allowing us to support the
model we choose.  Finally, we will have to develop some methods and
further research the individule components (non-hardware components) to
better understand the model and further its development.  It was a great
first week.  We are looking forward to seeing you next week!
